"Really wonderful department and staff, I couldn't have asked for a nicer atmosphere or experience."
The academic staff of the Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity teach and research the full range of disciplines relating to archaeology and the ancient Mediterranean world. The IAA brings together rare specialisations and cutting-edge archaeological technologies, united around a shared culture of conferences and seminars.
Individual staff pages briefly indicate research and supervision specialisations, and typically link to a full CV in Adobe PDF format.
Many of our staff also maintain a presence on the international academic listings site, academia.edu.
In the National Student Survey 2009, our undergraduates said:

"My Dissertation has been a highlight. Working with my tutor has really been very intellectually stimulating. It's the highlight of my academic life."
